Lauren's Flying Machine
For: flute, clarinet, and violoncello, with harp OR prepared piano

Program Note: My Sister’s Flying Machine” is inspired by a memory I have of my sister, Lauren. When Lauren was around eight years old, she was obsessed with flying. She would build machines out of cardboard and kitchen spatulas, make parachutes out of our linens, and then throw herself off stone wall in our backyard.
Performances: April 2024 at the Royal Academy of Music by Stuart King (clarinet), Grace Mason (harp), Lydia Walquist (flute) and Claire O'Connell (cello)
