Program Note: In a dystopian world where all art, color and freedom of expression have been banned by a cruel dictator, a rebellion struggles to survive. On their journey to avenge their assassinated leader, two rebel soldiers realize their feelings for each other, rediscovering what they are fighting for. The opera switches settings between the dictator's headquarters and the rebellion's perspective.
